Junior Masters is a program for experienced sprint racing athletes (approved by the Head Coach) who want to maintain their paddling skills and who own their own personal racing boats. The clubhouse is open many mornings and evenings in the summer to allow experienced paddlers to go out on the water in groups. Training programs are available for this group but no direct coaching. With safety being of primary importance, members are advised not to paddle alone and to wear Canada-approved PFDs when paddling in cold weather.
Novice Coached Masters
This program is for individuals who, as club members, would like to improve basic kayak paddling skills and be introduced to sprint racing. Club equipment is supplied. On-water coaching and planned workouts take place two times per week from end of May to beginning of September. This group is led by an Assistant Coach.
ADVANCED Coached Masters (age 25+)
This program is for adults who would like to be full time members of the club and learn the skills for sprint racing. Club equipment is supplied. On-water coaching and planned workouts take place three times per week from May through October. This group is led by an Assistant Coach.
